Frost Tower and Driskill Hotel
I'm very happy with this shot of two of my favourite buildings in downtown Austin. The Frost Bank Tower is quickly becoming the best-known feature on the Austin skyline though it is slowly being crowded out by several larger towers being built around it. The interesting design of the top of the tower looks great and it is beautifully lit at night making for an even more spectacular view. At the opposite end of the downtown timeline, the Driskill Hotel is a classically elegant, beautifully restored hotel. Its food and service are outstanding and you can't beat the upstairs bar for atmosphere.
