We had a wonderful 4th of July on the in-laws boat on Lake Austin, The firework display up by the Pennebacker Bridge is superb and the view from the water was amazing. I hadn't intended taking any "real" photos but ended up strapping the camera to the boat using a Gorillapod and taking some fireworks shots. Surprisingly, the bobbing of the boat didn't seem to adversely affect the images so here's one that I've quickly pulled from the 60 or so I just copied from the camera.
