Robert Burns, Scotland's most famous poet, was born in this cottage in Alloway, near Ayr, on the west coast of Scotland. 2008 is the 250th anniversary of his birth and many events are being organised to commemorate the date.

  What a great contrast! Excellent sky that makes the cottage more prominent. An excellent HDR without looking overdone!
