The Texas Legislature meets every two years in the State Capitol building in Austin. Each representative gets to sit in one of these large, leather chairs behind beautiful wooden desks. Rumour has it that senaators get to keep their chairs when they leave office but I’m not sure if the same applies to members of the House of Representatives whose seats are shown here.
