Although the FIRST competitions are arranged geographically with teams generally able to find a regional competition within their own state, some teams have a harder time. Various international teams take part and many of them travel to the US to compete in one of the regionals here.

This picture shows Team 1156 who traveled from Brazil to take part in the New York Regional last weekend. Other teams at the event came from Canada and the United Kingdom.
