View from 8A – Changing Landscape
The abrupt change from the distressed, folded landscape of the coastal hills to the central valley of California is very striking. All of a sudden, the high, fractured terrain ends and you find yourself over a huge, flat plain divided by thousands of regular, rectangular fields.
