An Explosion of Lights
I was over in Johnson City last Saturday for the opening of the "Alterations" show at A. Smith Gallery and couldn't pass up another visit to the Pedernales Electric Cooperative's headquarters which, as has now become traditional, is decked out with about a million Christmas lights.
The place was rather busy but I could avoid the crowds by pointing the camera upwards and shooting a bunch of abstracts using either camera movement or zoom to streak the lights. This one turned out rather interestingly and even has a Batman face in the center if you look at if for long enough.

Chris – true enough. If I had switched to tungsten white balance, this would look just like the Millenium Falcon’s jump into hyperspace. Does that mean my visual effects are 30 years out of date?
