Here’s one from the archives which I’ve had queued up for about a year but left to post on a rainy day. This is the Texas State Capitol (as if you hadn’t figured that out already) shot through the Heroes of the Alamo Memorial. This monument has the rather embarrassing distinction of having about half its inscribed names spelled wrongly. It also has 47 names on it which don’t actually appear to relate to people who fought at the Alamo. So much for fact-checking.
