Rings – Texas State Capitol
Yesterday's experiment in image sizing was rather over the top. Just because I now have 900 pixels to play with, doesn't mean I need to fill them especially with a portrait format image that ends up being too large to view without scrolling on most monitors. Moving forward, I'll stick with images that can be fit inside a 900x900 box and see how that looks.
Today's shot is another one I took with the fisheye in the Texas Capitol on Monday morning. The distortion here is particularly apparent in the railings around the second floor balcony (the one I'm standing on). I'm also posting a similar, monochrome image over on Flickr today so you may like to take a look at that one for comparison too.

Looks awesome… the cool tones brings a different aspect to the image, like it’s a hard life at the capitol… prison-feeling… Great stuff!
