Team 135, Penn Robotics
This weekend, I'm in Chicago representing Texas Instruments at the FIRST Robotics Competition Midwest Regional. While New York was fun a couple of weeks ago, I will probably make myself unpopular by noting that the quality of the robots at this competition is even more impressive. That's probably related to the fact that there are many, many mature teams here with a great deal of experience. FIRST team numbers are allocated more or less sequentially with this year's rookies in the 3400+ area. This competition has teams including 16, 45 and 71.
This shot shows Team 135, Penn Robotics pit area while a team member discusses a robot issue with a couple of mentors.

Very interesting use of fisheye. The two people closest to the camera help draw the viewers attention inward. Great colors too!

Wow – looking at this on my colour-calibrated monitor now that I’m home (and not using my slow work laptop), I see that the white balance on this is horrid! Please imagine the picture without the magenta cast.
