Stairs, Seaholm Power Plant, Austin
I’m posting this for urbex-meister Jacques Gudé with a nod to the ”Stair Whisperer”, Bob Lussier. Both gentlemen, whose work I admire enormously, said nice things about my previous Seaholm Power Plant stair shot (which you can find here) so here’s another one. Different stair, same power plant.
Over the few years I’ve been a Twitter user, I’ve ”met” a wonderful collection of photographers from all over the world. In some cases, I am delighted to have actually got to meet those people in person during trips (that would be you Bob, Brian, Charles, Cliff, Dave, James, Jesse, Mark, Matty and Scott) and there are some I’ve had the pleasure of talking to via Skype (Jacob, Heath, Mike, Phil, Pat, Rob) but there are another group of folks I have neither met nor talked to (aside from typing at) but who I strongly suspect would be great company. Jacques heads that list and I hope either I make my way to Berlin at some point or he finds an excuse to visit Austin so that this situation can be rectified.
And here endeth the Easter HDR sermon/love-fest.

Hey Dave! Just getting to see this now as I’ve not been around the Internet much of late here in the bush in Kenya. These stairs are, like your last, fab. I really appreciate the nod, and hope to get to meet you sometime. You’re welcome to Berlin anytime!
