San Francisco by Night
If you ever happen to be looking for a great place to capture a downtown San Francisco image, I can strongly recommend Twin Peaks Boulevard. This picture was taken from the parking area and observation point up there and the view is spectacular. The evening I took this, I met Jim Goldstein for dinner and he kindly hung around in the cold up here for 45 minutes or so while I shot a bunch of exposures.

Thanks, folks. This image is a great example of how useful Flickr can be when scouting for locations. I searched Flickr for a skyline view that I liked then looked at the geotagging to determine where it was taken from.

Beauty of a shot Dave – I’ll definitely have to check this spot out if I get out to SF (which hopefully should happen soon!)
