Peeling Railing, Littlefield House

Peeling Railing, Littlefield House

The Littlefield House looks rather out of place sitting as it does in the middle of a collection of contemporary buildings right at the heart of the University of Texas campus. It was built in 1893 as the family home for a cattle baron and has survived 120 years of development to provide a wonderful contrast to the architecture around it.

This is a detail shot (obviously) but I have a wider image of the house to post tomorrow.
