Wells Fargo Tower, Houston, Texas
The Wells Fargo tower in downtown Houston, Texas has this wonderful circle-in-a-square thing that sits about 12 feet above street level over the walkway between the street and the front door of the building. It's just begging for people to shoot pictures through it. Unfortunately, to do so means you have to be 10 feet inside the Wells Fargo property line and this makes their security people very worried. I shot a similar image a couple of years ago but wanted to get it right on my last visit so returned and managed to shoot off this 1 bracket before the nice security lady sent me packing.
Next time, I'm going to try writing for permission first since I think there's another great blue-hour picture to be had from this position too.
On a technical note, this was shot with the fisheye lens but I decided to correct for the distortion in post processing so you don't see the usual curvy appearance here. Knowing this, I would likely use the 14-24mm next time since it's actually wider than the fisheye after you remove the distortion.

That’s one of the most imaginative architectural shots I’ve seen for quite a while. We have that type of security pest in London too – mostly they are talking b**lshit!
